A-1 Ready Mix was originally founded in Astoria, Oregon in the 1970’s. Kirk Taylor moved here from Washington state in 1997 to acquire A-1. His background in Washington has always been in the construction/concrete industry since high school. In 2007, Kirk purchased the Ilwaco concrete plant that also included pre-cast capabilities. This combination has made A-1 Ready Mix the North Oregon and Southwest Washington coast leader in concrete and pre-cast supplies. After 20 years, we are still dedicated to providing our customers with the best products available and quality customer service.
